Slides

Thanks again to the organizers of YAPC 2007, a great conference! I've now posted the slides, in pdf format.

NAME

Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? - how to debug Perl web applications using only a few brave little pigs (and some Perl modules)

TIME SLOT

20 minute standard talk.

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes debugging Perl web applications can feel like an impossible task: there's a big forest of web servers and databases and third party applications, CPAN modules, and... worst of all... your own code.

Is the only way to find out what happens to send in brave little piggies one by one and see whether they ever come out?

This talk will present various techniques to make you happy (and keep the piggies safe and sound)

NOTE

A version of this talk (with more company internal detail) has previously been given given as a 1 hour tutorial at my employers, DADA sPA, Italy.

AUTHOR

Hakim Cassimally, aka osfameron.

Active in the Perl communities in London and Italy, osfameron is currently a lead developer at DADA in Florence.
